Seasons

Spring

Tillie's Farm opens around April 1st each year and has pansies and other hardy annuals and perennials. The greenhouses are growing a variety of potted plants and hanging baskets.

As the calendar turns to May, the staff at Tillie's is busy preparing cemetery baskets and is well-stocked with military flags for Memorial Day. As the weather begins to warm, more flowers, such as Impatiens, New Guinea Impatiens, Petunias, Marigolds, Gerber Daisies, and a greater selection of annuals and Perennials begin to appear at the farm.

Summer

Father's Day weekend is when Tillie's typically begins to sell a wide variety of fruits, including: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, seedless grapes, peaches, plums, and nectarines.

Locally grown vegetables also appear at theis time, including: tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash, zucchini, sugar snap peas, green beans, eggplant, radishes, onions, and potatoes.

Our famous 4th of July tomatoes and corn are definitely the most popular items throughout the summer months.

Fall

With cooler days come Chrysanthemums in many colors and sizes as well as perennial hibiscus.

We have delicious apples from Brooksby Farm as well as a variety of squashes, butternut, acorn, carnival, butter cup, and Blue Hubbard.

We have pumpkins of every shape and size as well as small bales of hay, corn stocks, and scarecrows to complete your harvest/Halloween decorating.
